I photographed Stacey and John’s wedding last year at The Barr Mansion (great venue.) One of my favorite parts of wedding planning when I was a bride, was creating the invitations. I am a stationary lover! I can’t get enough of pens, pencils, hand-bound books, handmade paper…I love it all! So, I am always on the look out for good invitations for my clients. That being said, it’s the one of the thing as a photographer, I rarely get to see on the day of. Sometimes a bride will bring a copy to the wedding, which is great for taking detail photos (we sometimes will incorporate photos of the invite into client’s albums). I was thrilled to be recently contacted by Gia of Betsy White Stationary. They wanted to feature Stacey and John’s photos on their blog, Flights of Fancy. I luuuuuuv their invitations. Betsy White also creates some really pretty wedding logos, which I wish had done for my wedding.
They did a great job of incorporating John’s Scottish heritage into their invitations. Check out their work. It’s really special.
