This year I planted a potted veggie garden. I was so excited the other day to finally see the first signs of tomatoes. They are tiny (shown here they are smaller than a dime), but it still felt like quite an accomplishment. I really don’t have a green thumb (I don’t keep any plants in the house because I always manage to kill them), nor do I have the time to tend to a big garden (hence using pots). So, I was overly thrilled to see the fruits of my labor. I also planted cucumbers, yellow peppers, hot peppers and strawberries. Yum! What a better way to go green than to eat your own veggies from your own backyard. Hope this inspires someone reading this to do the same. It’s easy, fun, nutritious, economical and environmentally conscious. Happy gardening!
